Had an awesome stay at Tama! The owner's hospitality, especially when he drove us to the ferry. Playing with the adorable cats next door was a definite bonus, although I did wish for better coffee in the morning.

Tama Hotel in Ishinomaki blew me away with its charm. The owner went above and beyond, driving me to the ferry and offering delicious bakery treats along the way. The cat-themed decor added a playful touch to the spacious room. I loved the fact that I could hang out with the adorable cats next door anytime I wanted. The complimentary bicycles were a nice perk for exploring the lovely town. Breakfast was delightful, especially the local pastries. A minor inconvenience was the limited coffee options available in the morning, which could definitely be expanded. But overall, the warm hospitality and thoughtful amenities really made my stay special.

The transportation to the ferry terminal was very convenient.

Upon arriving at Tama Hotel, I struggled with check-in as no one was present to assist. I even had to find another location to wait with my luggage for a while. The lack of coffee options in the morning also left me disappointed, especially after a restless night.

The host was incredibly helpful. picking us up after our day on Cat Island and even took us to the train station. The room? Spacious and inviting, and we loved the charm of the cat-themed decor around. Great local sushi restaurant nearby too.
